Welcome to Hwadu Publications.

The word hwadu (hua tou or hato) refers to words or phrases used as a topic of inquiry in order to help develop the power to remove the discrimination of conceptual thinking.

 

Hwadu are used to assist the practitioner in discarding everyday norms. They are considered to be exceptional or absolute words that are not in accordance with the function of rational thought.

 

We are dedicated to publishing works of an insightful, spiritual and inspirational nature. We endeavor to publish works that are beyond the norm. Our primary focus is on the various wisdom traditions of the east and west. We are not simply looking for research, but experiential knowledge, insight, reflection, expression and personal evolution.
